BOSS Dr. Sample 303?

I'm looking at buying this sampler....actually it's on lay-a-way at my friends store. I've read quite a few reviews but I would like some "more personal" feed back on this item. I plan on using it for DJ and production sampling including voice effecting and stretching as well as syncing it with drum machine and Roland MC-303.

Has anyone used it before? How did you like it?

I have the 202, but it has some issues. I'd like to try the 303. There's a few on ebay all the time. I know a lot of people really like the 202. You have a lot more memory available onthe 303, are you getting the upgrade? Are you getting it new?

I'm getting it brand new with 3year warranty, manual, etc. I've never owned the 202, however I did own the Roland ms-1 at one time.

It sounds great and the effects are kewl! I bought two SmartMedia cards off eBay for it. I like the [EXT XOURCE] function a lot, I'm sure I will use with the turntables. It has lots of BANKS for storage, but the maximum sample time is relitively short.....I'll check the manual to see if it can be extended somehow.
