Hi all,

I recently purchased the DR-670 and have been disappointed with its features, etc. Have any of you had any experience with this machine? I also own the Zoom 123 and like its features much better. Two of my gripes: there is no feature to let you record each drum at different volume levels to get a more real sound - it does have a sensitivity adjustment that partially does this, but I find it much more difficult than the Zoom. ALSO, and an even bigger gripe, you can only program 2 measures in each drum pattern you edit! That is definitely not enough to program a specific pattern without taking up 50 patterns for one song! Am I missing something here?!?!? I'm now thinking of turning back in the DR-670 for a Zoom 323. Any other thoughts on this?

Thanks!

yep

That's definitely the plan - I am just really surprised because I thought that Boss drum machines were the standard in there price range.

what's your price range? for $800 you can buy the fostex vf-16.

it's a 16-track recorder with effects,compressers,eq and phantom power!

here's the link. www.vf16.com

i use it myself and it rocks!

I actually have the Korg D16 - so I'm all set with the digital recorder. I've heard good things about the Zoom 323 and so it looks like I'm headed in that direction...

yeah. zoom's a good company. anyway i hope that you get what
your looking for!
