BR -8 and Digital recording

I never assembled a digital studio.
Anybody has tips?
So far I have the BR-8, a very good microphone with preamp, Guitars and Fender Amplifier.
I whant to record some Rock, Blues and Jazz songs that I composed. I need to have a flexible studio.
Any help is apreciate.

Aldo, simply play around with the BR-8. The unit is forgiving and simple. Before long, you will be building your songs without looking at a manual and I think you're going to be very happy.

There are several web pages devoted to the BR-8. Michael O'Comain's site, the BR-8 Manifesto, is terrifically informative. My site, the BR-8 Page, has a different tone but is also devoted to helping musicians like yourself. I'm at http://br8page.editthispage.com

Google.com is a good search engine for helpful sites.

Joyeux noel!

Well, that was me doing all the parts :D, except for drums and here I used a DR-5 drum machine that was midi sync'ed to the BR-8. All the effects used are all in the BR-8, I used the bass sim on my 72 Strat.

wawazzat - Ah shucks :o, thanks for your kind words. I did it first to 'test' MP3 and second becuse so many people wanted to hear what the BR-8 could do.

Well you did good!
I started last night t orecord a old song (I wrote it in '77...)
I am getting back, step by step ... or should I say Track by track?

OK, I got my DR 5 and Now?

Iwill study the owner manual before ask any other question, I promise. But do you have any sugestion prior to it?
Tricks on setting?

Watch your recording levels, the levels must be between the 12 & 4 marks in the info window. If you want to midi sync the DR-5 to the BR-8 use midi 'ch 10'. Most times I'll record using the the BR-8's Rhythm Guide, midi sync it to my DR-5 and record the tracks in stereo. Get a Roland DP-2 pedal, this will allow you to punch-in/out and start/stop play or record, it makes recording easier. If you have any problem email me :) .
