this is more akin to the guy who said the world is flat while everyone else watches satellite images from GOES-9 on the weather channel.
having said that:
if you can have guitar amp modellers, and mic modeller, then you can have monitor modellers.
and i must admit that i tried Boray's method of 'tuning' my stereo speakers with an alesis meq-230 about 10 years ago.
it didn't work so i saved up and got some alesis monitor ones 2nd hand from chuck levins. even though i can afford better, i'm so use to the way my 1's sound, i'm reluctant to get anything else.
having said that:
