redo the vocals. Fix the pitch problems. Mix isnt too too bad, but vocal performance needs work.

Sounds kind of radioheadish. Mixwise, on my system the organ sounds overpowering on my system, I'd turn that down some. Maybe a little more bite to the snare sound too. Otherwise sounded fine on my system ;)

thanks guys

can't change the snare sound though.the drums were recorded to 2 tracks.

I mixed this for a friend of mine. he's putting out a record soon.

just wondering what everyone thinks of the mix.....what you guys would have done differently.......keep in mind that it was recorded to a tascam 8 track and mixed digitally.

here's the link: http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=5023&alid=-1

incase anyone is interested, he has other songs on his myspace account at: http://www.myspace.com/ricardogutierrez

thanks guys

Hey donkeystyle,

The vocals are a tad pitchy here and there and may need some added lows to give the vocals some fullness. The organ is slightly over powering on my system as well.

A few things to attend to but no big drama's, mainly the vocals as mentioned!

Thanx for sharing donkeystyle!

Gorty :)

Song is good. Mix is good.

The recording is noisy, a lot of lil pops and clicks and general noise.

As mentioned, just redo the vocals, way too out of tune. I like the song quite a bit. Reminds me of Lennon stuff or She's so Heavy.

he definitely really likes lennon's solo stuff. I thought the song was a little doors'esque though

thanks for listening,
ben

very nice, remainds me of 70' stuff I've been listening lately.
I'm listening through earplugs from my comp. and hear pretty much everything just fine piano, drums, organ, vocals..
I thought drums are a bit under.. except hi-hat.
Vocalist sounds good, but when going high can't keep on tune. Maybe a hint too upfront, them vocals.
