Blue Spark

I saw one review that claimed it has a dual-diaphragm electret capsule (it also claimed that the switch changed polarization voltage, so take that with a grain of salt). If true, then this could be a great platform for modding into multipattern.

I don't know why but I was under the impression that the switch was mechanical and actually moved a plate in front of the capsule ..... maybe I just dreamed that, I don't know, But that was my impression.

I finally got a piece of the pie ♫
I was using Chinese Traditional.

Traditional is old school you got to use simplified.

Sooooooooooooooo moving on up!♫

Congrats, as I unbox my ATM75 since I'm using my only mic stand as a camcorder mount. Oddly the sE Reflexion filter is best used in this configuration IMO. Headset mic, and then the filter just right in front of your face. Held by hand, heavy stand rigging detached. Since it's the least likely of my craigslist offerings to sell "used". I am kind of curious about the spark as a voice over mic. Nice noise spec for a $200-ish mic.

That was a good demo. Any idea what the recording chain was?

They didn't look 6yo to me. But I'm not a good judge of that. Was the piano as picked up on the bluebird, or recorded with that other mic (or something else off camera)?

nice piece:) the blubird sounds great! you picked it over the baby bottle though? what was your reasoning?

My six year old was practising her piano while I was posting. Dat's what I meant.
I saved that YouTube to inspire her. Those kids are having so much fun.
It looks to me like they are recording into an H4N or something similar. (Saw it in one of their other videos)
I picked the Bluebird because it gets better reviews than the Baby Bottle or the Dragon Fly.
I believe it was originally the same price as the Baby Bottle but public opinion drove the price down. (Something to do with whichever country the Bluebird was manufactured in)
Review BLUE Bluebird
The specs I'm seeing on the Bluebird stand up well to some of the big Boys but then, you can't hear specs.

Naw!
What a nice package though.
Some very clever people put these together.
One of their claims is that the extravagant features of the microphone can inspire better performances.
Actually, It's hard to argue with that.
I've put one on a stand to test it and I'm already finding that some of the nitpicking I've heard about this one is nonsense.
a) The pop filter is very nicely put together. Is atractive and fits easily onto the mic.
b) The "Bird's Nest" spider mount is as good as any other. Similar in quality to the Samsons and the wing nut tightens well enough to support the mic without flopping over.
I'll put it through some paces tomorrow. A little bit of vocal and some acoustic guitar. (tenor)

sounds like it does come in a better package than the baby bottle. sounds great I would love to hear more of what it can do. right now I feel like I am up in the air between the bluebird the MXL genesis and the RE 20.

RE20 - RE20 - RE20 - RE20 - RE20 ..... there is my rant. :D
