BLUE Bluebird

Does anyone know what this mic will approximately retail for? From what I can tell, from what I know about the price they're offering for Bluebird/Focusrite combos, it may be even cheaper than the Baby Bottle.

i read somewhere (i think in the AES report in this month's Recording) that it's ONLY going to be available with the focusright/digidesign combo packs.

if that's the case, AND they're of the same price-range that their other combo packs go for........well, i kinda think that sucks, having to have to buy a channel strip just to get the mic. especially a mic that may be in the $300-400 range from the looks of it (and given their product history). i'm gonna be in the market for an LDC of that range soon enough.

but as with most new gear releases, i'll wait for other folks to get em, read what they have to say, and then look for one used if it sounds like something i want.
