All this work has finally done some paying off. With much thanks to all of you here at HR/BBS, I am now an intern at a prestigious studio in Anaheim, CA. http://www.desertmoonrecording.com for those of you interested in taking a look at the gear list. They have almost every GOOD mic in existance and a nice phat rack mount arsenal. Everything patching through a beautiful cinemix . I am going in with a band Saturday night to finally get some drum recording experience. Does anyone have any pointers that I can keep in mind going in, or any insight on what I should pay most attention to during set up? Anything like that would be excellent in keeping me fresh for this session.

there outboard gear isn't really all that impressive...i guess they use whats on that big muthafukkin console or plug-ins?

I'm pretty sure the behringer stuff is just for show to fill up the racks...or those peices maybe pro audio gems?
