BG-01 Calibrating?

ok I have the BG-01 from Mick in the UK, but I am curious how to calibrate it to be at "line level". I am a newbie by the way. This preamp doesnt really have much as far as meters, so do I just watch its level from the computer and adjust it accordingly? I have heard that -18 is line level, should I adjust the preamp so that it reaches -18db on my computers input level meter?

i suppose i could ask.. but I thought maybe someone on this board would have the answer sooner because of the time difference gap, But that sounds like a good idea, ill just ask Mick, thanks.
