beyer opus 87?

It's OK, nothing great. Hard to position really...and doesn't stay real well in place. The sound is...OK.

thanks for the advice man, what would you choose for a similar price instead? or what would everyone else choose, i like sm57s but would like a little more attack:) would a sennheiser e604 be good? is the e904 any better?
 
Tons of stuff will work fine, I use CAD M179's on toms but can tell you the CAD TSM411's are very decent, the Audix D2 / D4 rock out nicely...
