Beta 57 or Beta 56 for snare

If you had to choose between a shure beta 56 or 57 for a snare drum, which one would it be and why??

Beta 57, because I think it was made for the snare/toms, but personally, id just use an SM57 on the snare

Well if you have to believe the official shure site, a beta 56 is made for snare/toms.
