Beta 57 and Shur 57...

Beta 57 and Shur 57...which one has strong rejection and more narrow to its direction?
i am confusing of their name now..... :confused:
 
The Beta 57 is super-cardioid, while the 57 is cardioid... also, the Beta 57 is brighter-sounding than the standard 57.........
 
so....Beta 57 catch more wider stuff?

So in ur words, Beta 57 is more wide range ? beacuse it catch 180 degree as well which Cardioid didn't.....in another word, it's not as narrow as Shur 57?
 
No....... a super-cardioid has a tighter (more directional) pickup pattern than a cardioid......

So in your words, the 57 has a wider "range" than the Beta 57.

If you're looking for a less-directional/non-directional pattern, you don't want a cardioid at all... you want a mic with an omni-directional pattern......

What exactly are you trying to record?
