Well geez, if you're going to point out all the problems what am I supposed to do?
On the vocals, it seems the sections that had harmonies were tighter than those without. Is it because you find it easier to hold the pitch when another voice is present (which would be the opposite of me certainly), or were those sections just easier to sing? Anyway, just something I noticed.
The instruments sounded warm and nice to me. Liked the electric keys part.
The lyrics didn't seem to fit with the genre. "She's way too cool to think I don't suck." is a good line, but it doesn't seem to work here. Just my opinion. I didn't understand the "I wish I was Jazz." stuff. It's probably because I'm thick.
The piano is from my keyboard, which is a Yamaha S80. All the stuff comes from there exept the guitar and the drums. The piano at the ending is two different tones, I recorded the part in midi and put it to audio with two different settings, I just couldn't get it to sound right...
first two lines........EXCELLENT!!!!........even the next two...i think the piano sounds great....."im not jazz"...seems to be not very inspired..??..i mean you killed w/ those first lines......the verses are great man...really...you need a better chorus...imho...
the vox are out here and there ..but the harmonies are pretty good..i didnt read this whole thread...drum machine?....sounds pretty good if it is...
overall i give this 7 better chorus...ups the score a ton..
na, the drums are real. You can tell by the off rythmness of them at times
Yeah, I always have a hard time writing more parts to songs. The ending was from a different song (I learned a jazz chord change and just did it alot of times) And I wrote the verse part first, and need something else.
