I only have a walkman , a nady microphone ,a stapler and a coupon for KFC. I only have $1.50, MAYBE 1.75 ..will that work for what I want to do with this project??. I also need this to sound like a electric dobro played by jimi hendrix mixed through a marshall halfstack and a neve board?. Thanks? Also, I need the link that shows U how to turn a oktava into a neumann?. Thanks! I love this forum, it is the best! I learn a lot heer.

Thanks, you have lots of luck. Sounds like you're off to a great start as well. No problem, enjoy!

I don't think you can do it

However, if you staple the KFC coupon to the walkman and record through the Nady into it, I bet you could get a pretty decend Lynard Skynaard sound.

Ever hear of the search function? If I have to answer this question one more time...:D

What you really need is a PRS through a triple rectifier. You'll need at least $5 for that setup.

You could put the KFC coupon in the spokes of your bike and it'll sound like a motorcycle when you pedal.

You can buy a pack and a half of cassettes at the dollar store with your 1.75. :D

Go to KFC and get the wings. Then don't wash your hands. Go home and play your guitar with greasy hands. Strings feel easier don't they?

why did the chicken cross the road?

'cause he was stapled to BigRay

i read somewhere that pigeons taste as good as chicken, only cheaper. Can someoen tell me where the mod pigeorn to chicken thread is??
plus why wont my demo copy of Macintosh toast with jam work with my demo copy of windows xp professional? wtf?can someone show me this thread please?
and one more questions. am I supposed to save this wave file as 8bit jpeg or 4 bit??

thanks, you are the best.

It.s easy.Send the KFC coupon to me,plug mic into the walkman then staple your ballsack to the table. It will sound great and cost you nothing.Don't forget to make Dobro sounds.Wish I could heer it!!

I say with certainty that YES you can but, you'll want to get the best mic for under $100. Few know this but, the best mic for under $100 is the Sure SM57...NOT the SM58. Everyone knows that the SM57 is for instruments only and that the SM58 is designed to compliment vocals.

Now that you've been empowered with the best kept recording engineering secret, go out and put together that chart busting album.

Oh man...I hope Blue Bear doesn't catch wind of this

Kfc

The heck with the other replies, i would go for the 3-piece dinner with mean greens and mac-n-cheese. You can't go wrong with that trio.
