Hey Guys,

I work nights (11pm-7am) as a valet and obviously I don't spend the majority of that time actually parking cars. Actually I spend most of that time here as well as various other sites on the 'net. Though I think at one time or another I've been to a lot of the recording/music sites out there, I was wondering what sites you guys went to for really extensive (more than one/two paragraphs) gear reviews or anything recording for that matter. Of course I frequent some of the obvious ones Musicians Friend, QSC, Audio-MIDI, etc. Don't necessarily NEED the links just a quick idea of where you guys go to do some quality reading about recording/gear.

ProRec.com

They don't review everything but when they do a review, its typically usefull. Of the gear they've reviewed that I own or have used, I can safely say thier reviews are fair and accurate.

But still.... the best reviews are YOUR OWN EARS!

Bruce,

as you know, some of our ears suck so we have to find people we can rely on and use their ears......

Trebles, nice link, got some reading material for a couple of weeks anyways, thanks.

Bruce I hear what you're sayin but it's a good way to trick myself into believing I'm actually learning something about recording, LOL.

Harmony Central? More like Gay Christian BS central to me...

Ha! I think Bruce and I met first at HC, the place is nice, but there's an awful lot of BS goin' on there!
Especially that lame-f*ck Poopypants! Man, is he stupid! (If you don't believe me, ask Bruce, ckt, Randy Yell, etc.)

But yeah, if you're a newbie, check JSlator's thread "The Ten Homerecording Commands" or something like that.
