I was just wondering if there were any preamps you haven't tried yet that you were interested in trying, and what they were. Because I would love to try so many from the list you made, but was wondering.... hmmm.... what would he want to try.

The real trident magic is in the "A" range stuff, particularly in the EQ's. Thats why I like the DaKing channels so much. They really seem to impart alot of the vintage Trident EQ sound. Even the Malcolm Toft ATC-2 has a lot of those same characteristics. Then again, that isn't really surprising.
