Thanks for all the comments fellas.
I have gotten a chance to listen at a music store to the BM5A's, along with a few standards (HR24, most of the Events and KRKs, etc.) However when I listen to all the ones in the 800+ price range they all sound great, just different.
One of the problems is that I can't just hear 8 pairs of monitors and pick out the one I like after just 10 or 15 mins of listening. I have don't have that kind of ear yet. It takes me a long time to get used to a set of speakers.
That said I do think I like the BM5A's the best out of what I have heard.
Also, I've been hearing a lot that for a project studio, where your in a small room, getting a larger speaker is actually bad. That the bass will distort and basically getting the larger speaker to get more bass will become useless in a smaller room. I am and will be in a smaller room for a long time. Do you think I would be better off with a smaller speaker? Granted the BM5A's, at 6.9inches is not that small, i think it would benefit me more than an 8inch speaker.
