Best Mic for Rock vocals under 150$?

For live stuff that I recorded (ADAT) in the past I used a couple Audix OM2's that worked out nicely. Nice sound, decent feedback rejection and built very well.

Oops noticed that you are not doing live recordings, OM2 is still a nice mic if you are considering a SM58 alternate.
 
that's very true. love the OM2. we use them for all of our vocals in live situations. Audix is a good company... they built the D6, my favorite weapon!!! hehe
