best mic for recording acustic guitar ,and all-round instrument mic for under £300?

That's like asking what the best t-shirt for about £20 is. Do you only need one of them? You're heading towards some pretty decent mics at the £300 mark ... but a pair of them will not be so.
 
Yeah only one mic... I just wanted to be given some examples/links of mics or something... theres so many out there but I dont know whats good and not...
Ive had a go at the akg c414 and its great... allround... but a bit expensive... any mics dedicated to acustic guitars...(for the studio)
 
I suspect that if you've used a C414 you won't be happy with cheaper stuff!!! Seriously, try and score one on ebay or something.
