the Rolls is NOT a very powerful headphone amp...
I'm very much aware that the Rolls isn't powerful. It's a $50 item.... solution... and very far from a $1000 fix, but it has provided enough gain to overcome and adjust for the volume difference that is afforded between the monitor output and headphone output of my DAW. The headhone output is approximately 25 dB less than the monitor output, so I needed to compensate for the difference when switching back and forth between nearfields and headphones to maintain a constant volume level between the two outputs that are controlled by a single volume pot. Capisce?

You ignored my question, though, by failing to answer and specify which $1000 headphone amp would be sufficient in your opinion.

Thanks for the link......but I'll pass.

I answered your question as I provided a link to some nice headphone amps that I think would get the best out of the 240DF. Look at the "Home" and "Max" line from them Those are really nice headphone amps.

Answer my question by providing the specifications of and the model number of the better headphone amp you recommend that actually retails at $1000.

Refrain from posting a link for multiple choices.

Otherwise.....you're just spamming, Dewd!
