BEST FREE noise reduction for sonar le (HELP)

Hi can you help me . Im new to home recording and im trying to record some simple acoustic guitar projects with vocals with a samson g track and its free sonar le software. I am getting some ok recordings for what i want by recording live however there is no noise reduction in the program and everything else i try just seems to just diminish the sound quality and make thing sound dull or muffled. Its mainly the hiss im needing to get rid of and am not expecting any miricles due to my set up but any advice on getting the cleanest sound possible would be appriciated. cheers for any advice

Actually you ARE expecting miracles! To make a decent (not brilliant mind!) job of recording acoustic guitar you need either a fairly good Audio Interface and a capacitor mic, and a small diaphragm type at that so you can get in close, 300mm or so. Or a really top line pre amp/interface and a dynamic mic...three eamples....

M-A Fast track pro AI and an AKG Perception 150(170) SD mic. Or my ZED 10 A&H mixer, SM57 mic feeding a 2496 soundcard in the PC...OR! SM57 and my Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 usb AI. All three combinations give me a noise level somewhat better than the 2am noise "floor" of my house.

A 90quid usb mic is just not going to cut it, sorry!
As a stopgap band aid, download the 30 day demo of Sony Soundforge. The tape hiss reduction app' in that is pretty good but FAR better to make good recordings first!

When you set your recording level, you should set it so that you hear no hiss before you ever press 'record'. When I use an external or internal preamp, there is always a point where you can have the level up to the point where you hear hiss. I set it to the point just before that and I don't get hiss.
Last month though, I recorded some acoustic guitar and I was in a lazy hurry and the recording turned out hissy. But I liked the feel and the chords I used and knew I could never repeat it as is so I used a dynafex noise reduction unit. I tried to sell it last year but no one wanted it and I'm glad now no one did. Once in a blue moon, it does the biz.
Sorry none of this helps ! But at least you got a story to help pass the time.
