I'm looking to add One Large condesor mic (mainly for vocals), and two small consensor (mainly for overheads, guitar, and piano) to my microphone collection. What are the best mics I can by in the $100 - $200 range? Tell me some of your experiences with these mics and what you think they sound like. thanks everybody!

do you want all 3 mics between 1-200 or 1-200/each ?.....

Small condensers: Octava MC012 or Marshall MXL 603s.

Oktava MC-012's for overheads.
Marshall MXL603S for acoustic guitar.
Use whichever above mic sounds best on your piano... and get the big pretty mic that sounded the best with your voice.

Get a pair of Oktava MC012's and either an SM57 or Studio Projects B-1. Get the B-1 if you're mostly acoustic, and the SM57 if you're more electric. Either way, you're in at $180.-Richie
