Best blank cassette brand Maxell or TDK?

I am getting back into home cassette recording after being out of it for some time now,I am purchasing a tascom pro cassette deck and would like to know which brand of blank cassette is best Maxell or TDK in terms of sound quality and construction?Thanks in advanced for any recomendations.

Been using Maxell brand EVERYTHING my whole life!
Never had any probs!

Maxell has never let me down. I've had a couple of problems (when I used to track to a Tascam 238) with a TDK's, just enough to make me leary of them.

Not sure if they're still as good, but years ago, getting my chops together, I used to use Sony CrO2 tapes. They were amazing... *memories...*
