Best AD convertor under $800

Im looking into adding a High quality AD convertor to my existing RNP, RNC setup. I am looking into a unit that can take + 22 in without clipping like my C-Port 2000 does. THe unit does not need preamp within but I would prefer to have some form of output for monitoring the input on the unit... Any Recommendations for me ?????

If I were you, I'd hold off a little bit... wait for the Benchmark ADC-1 to arrive. It'll cost more than the DAC-1, but I'm sure it will blow your mind.

You might be able to find a 2-channel Mytek for just a bit more than that. Otherwise, Lucid would probably be your best bet. The Benchmark will probably be pretty good, but I'm not sure when it's coming out or what the price might be.

Just got the RME setup..... Should be here in a week or so...

The package has all of my needs minus the Pre's that werent being used.... I couldn't figure out why I had to crank up my pre's all the time until I found out that the Unbalanced ins on my C-Port were clipping while my Preamp was doing just fine... My audio sounded clear but not crisp.... Come to find out that was the issue....
