Latest toy #2 Picked this baby up for $25

OWNED ONE JUST LIKE THIS BACK IN THE 60'S. Look at the shine on the power cable. This thing is definitely in near mint condition and it still works too. I was at Sun Studios a few years back and I was surprised to see one there also.

Love the smell of antique electronics! Sure would like to know where this thing was hiding all of these years.

Looks pretty good for a 62 year old machine! :)

Nice find!

Cheers! :)

Ha Ha I have one of those mics (looks exactly the same) laying around somewhere, I bought it on ebay many years ago. It does not work if I remember right, just bought it on a whim.

Love the look of this recorder.

Alan.

Looks great ... how does it sound ?

Well it's not state of the art, but at least it works. I got it mostly cause I used to have one when I was a kid. I used to record the Beatles off TV and radio with a microphone.

Wow! Dude, that is freaking awesome! The fact that it is still operable is even more amazing. I can't believe that the old paper capacitors haven't shifted in value so much that one didn't go up in a poof of smoke when it was charged. Completely groovy find.
