Anyone using this pre. It certainly looks like they have thought of everything in the design. I havent heard it yet though, and I was thinking that using the on board deesser would solve some of the sibilence issues some of the female singers seem to have. Its 120.00 at MF.

I have one. Its not bad, its not great...about what you'd expect for 120 bucks. On the plus side, it does have a lot of features--mic and line in, a low cut on the input for getting mud out of vocals, a pretty nice expander, and all the other stuff. The tube emulation just makes things bright and edgy. The de-esser is functional. Its pretty quiet. You can do a lot of subtle sound shaping with it, so it is versatile. It just ain't gonna get you into that magic high end realm, but for the money, its a good deal.
