good point wally!!
on a different angle, behringer support in OZ is crap as I'm finding out on a first hand basis

Behringer Eurorack Mixer

I guess I am one of the lucky ones here. I have had on of the 602a mixers for about a year or so now. It works great (for what it is) I bought it from MF for about 80 bucks, and mainly use it for monitoring thru headphones or adding a little (3 band) eq to my Alesis Dmpro. 6 channels, Phantom power, tape ins and outs, and effects sends and returns. I couldnt help but drop the cash. Recently, I had considered a few of their rackmount FX modules, but after the posts here, am rethinking my position. Keep the posts coming guys!!

Again, IMHO,Behringer mixers suck BIGTIME,but their
outboard processors I find very useful,workman-like,and
very capable of thier intended purposes. Not fancy or great, but you DO get decent quality for the buck!

Hey Vaigod

Don't let these guys scare you too much. I own a few of the rackmount thingies, and they're solid and do exactly what they're supposed to do.

As has been said here a few times before: there's plenty of better (AND worse) stuff if you're willing to pay triple the cash.

Let your own eyes and ears be the judge, man. Just check some of the stuff out! I own the Virtualizer and can't help but like it a lot! Bought it for 175 Dutch guilders. That probably boils down to about 65-70$. (Dunno the exact exchange rate) and for that cash I think it's a great piece of gear. Lots of useful effects and some less useful shit on the side to toy around with.

Take care!

The complaints are generally about the reliability of the MIXERS, the rack stuff seems to hold it's own pretty well.

Thankyou vox! That's my entire point wrong or right!

Thanks guys, Seems everyone hates the mixers. But after hearing the last few posts, I'll check out the rack units before I make a final judgement.

Thanks guys for all your intrest and comments. I just got back from touring with Tesla. I was Teching for the support act. the sound guy used a lot of behringer stuff. They could use anything they want and still used behringer. An autocom, composer, multicom, expander/gate, and a few others. They all performed as expected. Awesome.
