Behringer Mixer troubles!!!

I still don't know why I'm helping you at this point, but from your manual for your mixer:

"...the interface transfers the stereo mix from the console directly to a computer. Both the recording signal and the playback signal from the computer can be monitored at the same time. In this way, you can use several recording runs to produce complete multi-track recordings."

haha i know that but you dont understadn with the fast track interface i didnt use a mixer. Dude listen i recorded guitars with one interface now i cant record my drums with that interface too becasue it only has one mic input and i have a bran new mixer for drums. now the mixer has its own interface so i would need to record using the mixers interface and listen to playbackl with the other interface. problem is not in the actual recording. Its in the final edit because on my laptop in order to listen to the guitars i recorded with the fast track i need headphones plugged into the fast track. but to listen to playback from my mixer aka my drums i need a set of headphoens plugged into that. i only have 2 ears so i cant edit it all together do u get what im saying if you dont thats ok, dont even worry

FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING CHRIST AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, YOU DON'T NEED TO USE THE SAME INTERFACE TO LISTEN TO THE FUCKING GUITARS!!! God dammit man, if the track is recorded and in your computer, you can play it back in any way you see fit. I can't imagine why you think I'm lying to you. Here it is in the simplest fucking english I can imagine:


1 - UNPLUG YOUR FUCKING M-AUDIO CARD

2 - PLUG IN YOUR FUCKING MIXER

3 - IN SONAR, SET THE "MASTER" OUTPUT TO THE MIXER

4 - PRESS "PLAY". YOU WILL HEAR THE GUITARS AND WHATEVER OTHER SHIT YOU'VE RECORDED COMING THROUGH THE MIXER. HOLY FUCKING MAGICAL SHIT BATMAN.


FUCKING DO THIS NOW BEFORE I FIGURE OUT WHERE YOU LIVE AND SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF YOU. GOD DAMMIT.

Dude, I've told you this several times, and you couldn't get it through your head. Gigantic red text appears to be the only way to get through to you.

Assuming he's using ASIO drivers (not necessarily a great assumption), you can interface with only one device at once

Unplug the damn M-Audio, and use the Behringer as your interface. Assign the outputs in your program to the Behringer. You'll then be able to hear what you recorded, and what you're gonna record.

That said, here it is in plain english: UNPLUG AND THROW AWAY THE DAMN M-AUDIO!!! Plug in your mixer, set the outputs in sonar to your mixer, and you will hear the audio you recorded coming out of the mixer. Done.

I told you four separate times before you fucking got it, excuse me for being just a little annoyed. If you're going to learn anything, you NEED to actually READ and PROCESS what people tell you, not just glance and assume you know what I'm saying.
