YEAHHHHHHH

I found one used, I will receive it this afternoon, can't wait to try since it is my first bass pre. In fact, I never had a bass amp at all, I was playin DI straigh to my monitors.

Hope I'll get a big difference and that It will be good for recording!

Let me know what you think, because I am in the same boat and was thinking of getting one so I could get some diffrent tones out of my cheap ibanez on my recordings.

Let me just say that the Bas V-Amp Pro is one of my favorite studio tools.

What does the pro offer that the regular does not. I know I can look this up on Behringer's web site, but it sucks.

SP/DIF Out, balanced in/out, effects loop....off the top of my head.

and its rackmount

i have the normal one, and its very good for the price, i use to use it for recording before i got my bass amp

the sounds are good, and it has effects, and a compessor(very basic one)

I need something. I think I will try to pick one up on the ol e-bay this week.

Are they pretty clean, not adding alot of noise? After growing up using cassete tapes to record, hiss and noise of any kind is my mortal enemy.

hey,

after 3 days i can tell this unit is really good for recording. With DI it's kinda painful to compress when players aren't constant. with this one the wave is barely perfect. and it's sounds better then what i had with the DI+sh*tload of work.

I paid 200$ CAN for one 6months old, really a good unit, but i haven't got a jazz tone from now, but i feel it's more from the bass instrument than from a preamp.
