Oh please spare me!!!
You obviously haven't read much about the fab four.
And how could you put Dylan in this mix?
He just tried to turn them on to pot.
I think we all know where this is going.

Brilliant.

The Beatles were brilliant
The Dylan was brilliant
The Beach Boys were brilliant
The Underground were brilliant
Queen...yes, too.

They are all different. That's brilliant too.

I read somewhere that The Beatles did 'Because' because they wanted to show they could do the harmony stuff like the Beach Boys. They succeeded.

Let's not make silly comparisons between very different artists. It's like saying cheese sucks compared with chalk!

In Outlaws defence, his last post in this thread stated-
You guys are way too serious.............................
which leads me to believe, he's just yanking some of our chains.
So its all Good.

Thank you. Its nice someone here reads all the posts before starting a shouting match.

Besides, classical music was the first "concept" album/music thing. Beethovens 5th is waaaayyyyy more wacked out than anything the Beatles or the BeachBoys ever did.

Whaat?

How can you say that maaan, Beethoven sucks compared with Mozart, everyone knows that.

LOL

I work at Orchestra Hall in Mpls Mn. I have heard as much classical music as I have rock music.
Beethoven could create small very personal pieces (Fur Elise) as
an example and Big Glorious pieces like the 9th symphony.
Mozart liked mostly the huge orchestral arangements and most of his work was originally written for plays, great stuff but I hardly
feel he was greater then mozart. Beethoven also wrote his last few works while being totally deaf resting his head on the piano.
