Y'know, I was just thinking a few minutes ago, that...

I may get kinda burned out on Classic Rock (radio), but I never get burned out on the Beatles!... (covers too!) ;)

...[& a handful of other acts.]

I enjoyed that. Nice arrangement with the strings. Good recording quality. I think I'm going to save that applause/whooping and edit it onto the end of my next track. :D

guttapercha, that is outstanding. Loved it.
Monkey Allen, holy cow man, that gave me chills. That was pretty faithfull to the original.

I'll Be Back is great.

And thanks Track Rat, love your words!

Julia was great!

(I couldn't get the previous two songs to play).

I threw this one down live-to-stereo onto standard cassette in 1987,...

with a ragtag little 4-piece jam band I put together that had no name.
The Word!

Then, by 1997 I'd thrown this jam down for'ya!

Good Day Sunshine!
Recorded in 1997 as a piano/vox/drum jam live-to-stereo on std cassette, which in 1999 I dubbed a 2nd vocal and bass part at (1x-spd/No-Nr) on the Tascam 424mkII.;)

Well I thought it was only me!

I've been doing Beatles covers in the comfort of my own garage. I play and sing all the sounds and get a lot of enjoyment out of it - and I thought it was only me!

I use a Fender Stratocaster, Morgan Bass, Ibanez Acoustic, Marshall MG30 watt amplifier, Line 6 POD 2.0, a Fostex DMT 8 track digital recorder, tambourine, Casio keyboard, sennheiser microphone, hand claps and shoved into Goldwave software mainly for fading out tracks.

Here's my version of Rain - Enjoy!

Sounds great man. I really like the guitar work and harmonies.

Since this thread has been revived (OK, it was never really dead!), I'll throw this one to the wolves. It's hot off the computer:

For No One

Happy listening,
Don

For No One

Nice one Don :) are you sure you didn't just sing over a bootleg?

I wish I could play the keyboards like that or indeed to any standard. I tried Imagine once by playing chords in one channel and then doing the left hand 'diddly diddly do' bit in another channel afterwards. And sounded fine, I guess it's cheating but if the technolgy allows it then I wont loose any sleep.

Any more?
