Bass Problems

Due to the fact that the room i'm in has a low ceiling, tiled floor and my studio setup is situated in a corner (that's the only place it can possibly go) i'm having a few problems with bass. I was wondering if somone could give me some advice on what to do to get rid of some of the bass? I've been looking at bass traps but my wallet is a bit too lite at the moment! Is there anything i can do that dosen't involve much money?

You should go to the Studio building forum over here, or do a search there. You'll find much links on how to make your own bass traps on a cheap way.
