Bass-fuzz cheesyness.

Hello you fellows!


I kinda made this song to demonstrate a sound of a fuzz-pedal, used with a bass, to the guitarist that sold me the thing. Also posted it to Talkbass, where dubbed a cheesy song, rightfully IMO.
...I was in a that kind of place mentally.

But I really like the fuzzy bass at 02:22.

ANY comments about ANYthing are welcome, but it is a haphazard sound-sample. I just wanted to share the FUN of a synth-like fuzzy bass cheesyness.

Recording

how did you record the bass? DI or mic or both?

its got a super fat groove to it. i dig the fuzz. it can be overbearing at parts, imo, though. could just be the dbs conflicting with the output. I've always been a fan of bass fx. i love a lots of the fx that claypool pulls off. I've seen primus a few times, and les usually grinds away at a solo(bass acapella) with this type of sound.
