This is absolutely incredible for I-Pads & Bagpipes.

Make sure you play the video.
Not only intuitive but actually sounds authentic.
For those with difficulty downloading.
It's the drones and chanter, played on a touch screen.

So next Memorial Day we'll see various burly men in kilts wearing ipads instead of bagpipes.

Yet another amazing advance in technology :D

My Dad played bagpipes in the military in Scotland and sometimes he'd get into Extreme Asshole Mode and play records of bagpipes at high volume real early on a Saturday morning.

He'd wake everybody up and we'd come downstairs with a WTF look on our faces and he'd be smiling ear to ear proud of himself. I wanted to beat the crap of him but I was scared shitless of him.

Because of that, to this day if I hear anyone playing bagpipes, I kill them.
:D

My Dad was pretty much Mike Myers' father in that movie.

He was born in Scotland of Irish descent and was living in Canada! :)

And sang really bad Rod Stewart ♫
Trust me, I fit that mold.

Nevertheless, this technology floors me.

That's a fantastic piece of kit ! Do they have a version that can be loaded into a VST/ sampler like Sampletank ? I have Celtic Instruments, the VSTi and they're pretty good but those pipes are far and away the best I've heard and that's just on my computer speakers.
Good call, Jim lad ! {said in Bristol pirate accent}.

Ah, but they'll have to pay extra for the whale bone and ivory model.

Gotta love the modern economy, where job security is based on how good your batteries are.

Yes' I had a look at those but you'd have to buy a midi chanter to use them.
KVR & Universal work with a keyboard.
