You could use a condenser for that, but you'd get way, way too much bleed from... everything, so you'd have to heavily EQ it. Normally a kick mic has a tailored response that massively boosts the bass frequencies.
Also, most folks use dynamic mics for kick mics because high frequency detail is not only not needed, but is somewhat undesirable. I realize that there are some kick mic condensers, but I've never seen them in the list of mics people recommend when somebody asks about a kick mic, despite being in the same general price range as their dynamic cousins.
Just something to think about.
