B-Day Comin Up

I've been good so the wife's gonna treat me to a new speaker cab for my B-Day.

I'm thinkin a 4x12 setup. I'm wanting to find something to compliment a small mid heavy tube amp. I really have to hit it hard with an EQ to get the sound I like so I thought something to help it in the bass and maybe cut the mids a bit. I was thinking a closed back box with G12T75 Celestions (it's my only point of reference for mid-scouped speakers). I don't "need" a new cab but I want one so, I thought I would get something completely different from what I have already.

Thoughts on a bassier box?

Might be on the expensive side, but I find mesa cabs, with black shaddow speakers, very bassy, even 1x12.

Yeah, I had my eye on those. I've been good but no halo and wings yet. I was planning to use an empty 4x12 cabinet. Then load it with speakers.

I was looking at their website. Looks like thay load them up with all sorts of speakers. Any idea which ones you were thinking of?
