Slow song with brooding electronics and Roger Waters' styled vocal focus. Lots of track envelope use and filter automation to aid in subduing the bubbling synth while allowing a ramp-up to the chorus. This song is about a soldier engaged in battle with the enemy - not that I would know much about that. I've never been in the military and have never engaged in battle with anyone more dangerous than a salesperson who refuses to price-match. I'm still getting used to my Rode NT1a mic, as used here, but am loving it so far - much more so than my old MXL condenser. Enjoy!

Minimalist style tune. The synth i feel works well but the drum backing is terrible in design and not loud enough in the mix, it adds nothing to the track. Vocals are nice but the tune could definatley be helped with more instrumentation, and a possible key change to add flavour.
