Hey 'basers,

I'd like to set up my snare track so effects are applied independently of the dry snare volume. From what I've read, this can be accomplished by appling an aux send to the snare track. I've searched the manual and can't find anything in there. Is this possible with LE? If yes, can someone please tell me how?

Thanks,

JD

make a group track and place the effect in one of the two insert slots for the track. give the track a name that will be easy to identify like 'snare verb'. on your snare track click in one of the four send slots and assign it 'snare verb' or whatever you called it. adjust the send level, which is just below the send slot.

Also, if you truly want the effects to be independent of the dry track volume, set up the aux send in prefade mode.

I guess what I'm asking here is "where do I click to make something an aux send"?

Wait..edit here...

I just found the real operation manual online, I had been looking at the "getting started" pdf file.

Thanks for the info.
