Automating Sends In Reaper

Is there a way to automatically control the send to a track?
If I want to mute a signal, but have its reverb hang over, would this be possible?

(I've been muting the effect on the return, but this doesn't have the same effect.)

Yep

Select the sending track
Press "v" to open the volume automation
Click "volume" to open the automation selector
Send Envelopes > Track X Send Volume
