Hey,

I recently decided to quitly start recording drums (till now I used samples in battery II). Now, i got some decent mics (3 sm57s, some condensators.. I only need a good kick mic in this stage.. but will have one soon). I also bought an esi esp1010 soundcard with enough inputs. Now, I need good mic pre's. I wanted to buy them, but i just recalled I have a AMIS604 unit from australian monitors (someone gave it to me in the past). Can I use this unit and have decent results? I think it wasn't designed for these purposes.. but it might work out..

Thanks

Your studio must get pretty wet with those mics there. Keep em away from the computer.
