Audix Users?

Hi to all,

Looking for an Audix that is in the vocal quality vicinity of an Sm7 or an RE20. Yes I know those are 2 pretty different mics.

Why get Audix, instead of an SM-7B or an RE-20?

Those are different mics, but in a similar, large diaphragm dynamic space.

Lemme guess you got a credit or a discount with Audix, but you need a vocal mic? Like the others here, I can't think of anything comparable, but good luck.

The RE-20 (.. 16 etc) are damned near completely unique in least three ways to any other mics I know of, let alone just Audix'.
Full range relatively unhyped directional, no 'proximity tone change to speak of, and flat' off axis to boot.

What do you really want (need ?
