audix om2?

anyone know anything about these mics, i just bought three of them for my band to use for live performance, would they be any good for recording anything, how about for miching instruments. any help would be appreciated. thanks. tim

I use my OM2 for live vocals . I was all set to but the shure 58 till I went to the music store and compared them side by side. The Aaaudix Mics blow the shures away in my opinion. I do not use it to record by I see no reason why you could not find a use for it to record vocals.

i have 2 audix om-3xb's, which are kind of like om2's on steroids-i use them for vocals and guitar while recording (i pull off the pop screens for guitar)
