Alright, need a new thread for this one. And yes, I did search, and most posts are related to bashing screamo and not really getting to the question.
I'm thinking about selling my D112 (sick of the basketball sound on kick), but after recording my singer and trying an SM57, Peavey PVM45, Beyer M201, and a Sennheiser e609, we settled upon the D112. It had the least distortion and helped his voice the best. I found the SM57 just turned everything to distorted mud, as did the PVM45, the M201 distorted as well but the frequencies were higher, the e609 sounded okay, and the D112 actually sounded pretty cool.
So has anyone used a D6 on screaming vocals? I guess if all else fails I can borrow my buddy's MD421, but it'd be cool to get some input.
