I'm hoping I don't have to learn the "you get what you pay for" lesson here. I bought an Emagic Audiowerk2 card at Guitar Center for 99 bucks (hoping I could buy a second or a third later for more inputs). I had a hell of a time getting it to work at all with Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, so I installed the Logic Audio package that came with it. After downloading the current drivers, the Logic package records just fine, but CWPA9 still doesn't. The Logic package uses a direct hardware driver, and CW uses the crappy MME driver. Here's my dilemma:
I record a stereo track in Cakewalk, and it seems fine. I then record a second stereo track along with the first, and it doesn't "line up" - it's off time quite a bit (about 1.5 seconds-ish). After a 3rd stereo track, I'm getting pops and clicks and CW chokes and stops. Any ideas?
