Im looking for some reviews of the Audio-Technica ATH-M30's, Im considering buying a pair for mixing (I know monitors are better, but at the moment I can only afford headphones)

I have a pair that I use primarily for tracking. Personally, I think they are a great set of headphones for the price. I don't know what the frequency response curve looks like, but they sound very natural and not over-hyped in the bass like a lot of inexpensive phones. I have only compared them to other phones under $100, so there may very well be much better options if you are willing to spend the money.

I've got 4 sets. They're okay for tracking but not real accurate.

Are you considering the M30s or M40s??
The M40s are more common and generally better known. I have a pair... They are boring, flat and accurate... great for working when the wife wants the monitors of.... Comfy too!! about $75...
