Does anyone know if there are any really thorough and active social bookmarking sites that focus on audio recoding at all? I'm looking for a site where members would continually submit/post urls of sites, articles, feeds, pics, videos, etc. that would be of interest to the audio recording enthusiast.

Thanks!

This is it. What more could you ask for?

There's GearSlutz too. Harmony Central. The Moog Forum if you're into monosynths and Moog gear. Synth Secrets is another good one, hosted by Chris Stack formerly of Moog, but it's more demos and tutorials. Youtube. Myspace.

This is a great forum, don't get me wrong. But I'm talking specifically about a bookmarking site, such as StumbleUpon or Digg where the "posts" are not questions to other members, but a forwarded news-type story or item of interest with a link attached. It would sorta be like the Facebook "Share" thing, but would be limited in scope to audio recording. Here's a site like I'm talking about that focuses on tech stuff: Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters, here's one for internet marketers/SEO gurus: Sphinn - News, Discussion Forums & Networking For Search & Internet Marketing Professionals

Certainly a discussion forum like this one has a little of this going on, but there's lots of other stuff going on too.

Try Audiofanzine. It's a manufacturers spam heaven. Or Harmony Central. $5 says you can't find a single negative review in the stuff that isn't posted by end users.

AES probably has something like what you're referring too.
