Hi all,

I'm currently having issues trying to record some audio right now. It's not a big installation for a singer or instrument, just a small thing for youtube videos on gaming, I hope it doesn't matter.

I just bought an AT 2020 (USB version) and started recording my voice. The issue is that the recording is echoing when I listen to it.
The real wierd thing is that, if I listen to my recording with my heasdset or my laptop speakers all is good, only my main computers speakers give back an echo.

I've tried recording with Fraps as I play, with the windows microphone and Audacity and there is the same problem.

I still posted a video on Youtube, most viewers don't have an issue but some are reporting some echoing...
(video in French... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMMcLHBzJAY )

If you guys could help it would be great!

Thanks in advance!

In the sound control panel, look for recording preferences and uncheck anything like 'what you hear'.

It's a common setting on built-in/gamer cards that causes problems with audio looping back.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer.
What exactly do you mean by 'what you here'?
Could you make a small screenshot of what I have to deactivate?

Thanks
