Has anyone seen (on a web site or in a recording book) a chart that equates the notes from a piano keyboard to the specific frequncies?

I'm workinh with an audiologist on a specific project related to hearing aids and it would be helpful if I could clearly define which notes reflect with frequencies.

here's a formula you can use:

assuming your tuning is A=440:

tuning * 2 ^ (steps/12)

(couldn't make it properly so had to use "^" as the "to the power" sign)

For example. if you want to the C above that A, that's 3 steps:

440 * 2 ^ (3/12) = 523.251130601197

You can use positive and negative number. For example the A that is an octave down is:

440 * 2 ^ (-12/12) = 220

You can use it to get exact frequencies and you can fill an excel spreadsheet for a table.

Cheers, Andrés

Analogx . com has this program called Frequency Analyst or something, but anyways; that converts notes to frequency, and frequency back to notes. Maybe this will help you. Peace!

Thank You

Thanks for your replys!!!

Wil Davis - That was exactly what I was looking for!

I had seen that graphic layout in a recording book once, but could not find it.

I thank you and my audiologist thanks you!!!
