Audio Engine Could Not Be Started

is what it says whenever i start cubase sx .. why is that and how can i fix it???

i just reloaded a legit copy onto another computer and got that message right out of the gate. went away after i set all drivers, etc. up properly.
 
what do u mean setup all the drivers properly?... inside of cubase?
 
you won't get (or deserve) much support here if you're running an illegal rig. yes, set your drivers up properly but if you're crack ain't perfect (and they rarely are) then you're just gonna have to cough up if you want to keep using it!
