Audacity on Vista

Hi folks, I'm new here, so forgive me for bringing up I subject that may have already been discussed.
According to their site, Audacity version 1.3.6 is suitable for Vista. Has anyone tried this option? I mean, once the system requirements are satisfied (minimum RAM, etc) do you have other problems running Audacity on Vista?
I know there are other recording software's that work great with Vista, but, hey...does it show that I'm looking for a FREE one?

So far, I've been able to avoid Vista using XP Pro, but MS is stopping support on XP in 2012 I believe?

Reaper is another good recording one (free to try).

Welcome to the boards. I've not heard of any problems using this with Vista but I would post this question in the computer area. Not here in microphones. Good Luck.

Software

I downloaded the software a few weeks ago and have had no problem with it at all. Good for free.

Audacity works fine on Vista, or as good as it ever works. I can't seem to get the VST Bridge to support any additional VST plugins though.
